Welcome! I'm Bonnie Warndahl. I am a cut flower grower and floral designer near Eau Claire, Wisconsin (just north of Colfax). Originally from Kentucky, I moved to the Twin Cities in 2006 in pursuit of a music career, but by 2015 the draw of nature was coaxing me into a life focused on working with plants—thus, I moved to Wisconsin and began farming. What started as a flower-growing trial blossomed into a passion. Before long I was running a full blown flower farm and floral design business, designing for weddings and events, vending at farmers markets, and offering a seasonal bouquet subscription.

Looking for local flowers?

A conscientious designer, I strive for sustainable composition, using foam-free mechanics, and preferring to utilize materials which can be reused or composted. Spring through fall, I incorporate cultivated and wild-foraged materials from my own farm and from neighboring farms that use regenerative growing methods.

 

Aesthetic

My strong creative energy leads me to explore a wide range of design styles and I enjoy working with a variety of materials and mediums, including fresh flowers and foliage, dried botanicals, and live plant arranging.

 

Experience

​

I have created beautiful florals for dozens of wedding parties—from small, intimate “microweddings” to full service wedding flowers. I am open to nearly any style of event work and botanical art challenge.
